Shipping policy

We try to dispatch orders the same day if possible, but otherwise within five working days. 

Overseas orders can take a little while to arrive, and may be subject to customs delays outside our control. We ask for your patience in this, as the postal service won't investigate 'lost' orders until at least 6 weeks have elapsed.

Please be aware that if you are ordering from outside the UK you may be charged additional customs fees. We have no control over this, so please check the customs rules and costs within your own country before placing your order.

If your purchase is a pre-order, the page should give some indication of the expected availability date.

 

Postage is calculated at checkout, but the following is a rough guide:

UK: £2.99 for one book; £4.20 for two to three books. FREE delivery on UK orders over £40.

Europe: £5.95 for one book; £11.95 for two books; £12.95 for three books.

Rest of world: £9.75 for one book; £22.95 for two books; £28.45 for three books.

These postage bands are just averages and may vary slightly depending on the size/weight of the book.

Your order will be sent by Royal Mail in most instances, and is therefore not trackable, although we also use UPS for large orders and these do have a tracking number. We have kept our postage prices as low as we possibly can (often below what it actually costs us to send) but there have been precipitous increases in postage costs over the last couple of years, especially for international orders, so it may now be cheaper for overseas customers to source our books from suppliers within your own country.
